The Terroir of the superior terraces of the Lot valley is ideal to yield concentrated and aromatic berries, thanks to a favorable sunny exposition and a limited hydric supply. Follow-up work in the vineyard, on carefully selected plots, is particularly well supervised to guarantee the quality of
the grapes for this wine. Rigalís team of oenologists sets up a specific wine-making process to improve the aromatic extraction of Malbec. The grapes are macerated at warm temperature before fermentation, immediately followed by a cooling time to preserve the flavor extraction.
The Original Malbec is perfect to drink fresh, within three years, with red meats, salads and sweet and sour cuisine.
