Wine Advocate 87 points - The 2009 Ocio Pinot Noir has a tightly wound bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla and pastilles, the carbonic maceration lending this a certain “playfulness” on the nose. The palate is linear and strict with sappy dark cherry and blueberry fruit. It is missing a little verve and delineation; the finish assertive but needing more elegance. I would afford this wine another year or two in bottle as it is too “strict” at the moment. Drink 2014-2019. (Dec 2012)
Otium, Ocio, leisure. A concept born in ancient times and deeply rooted in classic philosophy. Ocio is that sacred and well-earned pause after lifeís stresses are taken care of and your spirit is free to grow, contemplate and create. Itís a time of joy, inner peace, balance and illumination. Ocio is life itself condensed in a moment, a moment worthy of this enological epiphany: Ocio, Cono Surís icon wine and Chileís first ultra-premium Pinot Noir.
