Concentrated fruit, vanilla and spice on the nose introduce a rich palate with ripe tannins, beautiful balance and a structure that is well suited for aging.
The Solideo vineyards are located on the hills of Lake Corbara’s northern bank at 150 to 380 meters in elevation. The generally southern exposure varies by vineyard site. The soil is rich in red clay, tufa (a limestone common to central Italy) and small pebbles. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, and the two varieties are separately fermented in temperature-controlled vats. The grapes are macerated, and the blend is composed only after maturation in French oak barriques.
