The nose of this flavoured gin is dominated by complex fruity and floral aromas. The taste is very smooth with distinctive flavors of juniper berries in the foreground surrounded by spicy flavors of licorice, caraway and fennel.
Pink gin started out life as a sea farers breakfast, drank to rally a man against the wiles of the ocean, but now it’s had a modern make over by The Bitter Truth. It begins with a Mediterranean bouquet on the nose, with juniper, lemons and warm spices. Wonderfully calm in the mouth, juniper is still at the helm but it is supported by a crew of fresh spiced flavors like licorice, caraway and fennel which cruise to a smooth whirlpool finish. This minx is not just a common gin with a fake tan; it’s a sophisticated metro sexual in a salmon jumper.

|Each variety of pur•spirits is produced according to traditional principles by a 3rd generation artisan distiller in a remote village in southern Germany. Our time-honored recipes have been passed down and refined over decades, if not centuries.
The first three varieties of pur•spirits offered in the US – pur•likor blossom (elderflower liqueur), pur•likor williams (pear liqueur) and pur•geist framboise (vodka macerated with fresh raspberries) – each won a medal at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. We also currently offer two other distinctive varieties - pur•geist sloe(sloe flavored vodka style distillation) and pur•geist bierbrand, a distillation of beer aged in a chestnut cask. We recently launched pur•likor spice (blood orange liqueur), and have several other award-winning varieties that we hope to bring you soon.
