Wine maker notes
Grapes were de-stemmed and lightly crushed before undergoing
fermentation in stainless steel tanks. A maceration period of 12 days
followed. The resulting wine was aged nearly two years in American oak
barrels and refined in the bottle an additional three years prior to release.
Well matched with red meat, game, casseroles and
hard, flavorful cheeses.
