Ultimate Beverage Challenge 90 points - A fantastic lemony and stony nose. This wine bursts with green apple and citrus fruit. The acidity is zippy and the weight is light to medium bodied. A super refreshing wine that can be consumed alone or with food. (Jun 2013)
The wine greets you with a bright lemon yellow color and aromas of light intensity of melon (cantaloupe and honeydew) with a hint of lemon zest. On the palate the wine is dry, full-bodied with a creamy texture and mouth-watering acidity. The flavors are similar to the nose. The finish is clean with a long lingering light intensity of honeydew melon and Washington State Red Delicious apple and a hint of lemon zest. This is a very food friendly wine due to the very low level of oak influence.

|Wine maker notes
|This chardonnay is incredibly well balanced. Aromas of caramel creme Brule and a touch of coconut complement the light oak profile. Bright tropical fruit aromas complement the rich and vibrant flavors of green apple and crisp citrus fruits in our Carneros Chardonnay. This wine has a lengthy finish with a breadth of flavor.
This wine is ideal for any special occasion for new wine drinkers or wine connoisseurs. You can enjoy this wine at a nice dinner at home or serve it at a cocktail party. Choose from simple poached salmon with a buttery sauce or chicken and pork with a cream-based sauce to bring out the complementary flavors in this wine.
|Reata at Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley, one of the world’s foremost winemaking regions. The estate’s more than 300 acres of gently rolling hills and terraced vineyards benefit from the cooling fog and breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay, climatic conditions that favor the production of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The unique architecture of Reata at Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is reminiscent of a majestic western mountain lodge, replete with soaring ceilings, seating around a cozy fireplace, an observation gallery overlooking the barrel room and production area, and a spectacular wraparound veranda that affords sweeping views of the Napa Valley and San Pablo Bay.
