Steve Tanzer 91 points - The buttery-styled 2011 Chardonnay Russian River exhibits more tropical fruit (mango and pineapple) and hints of hazelnut and smoky oak. Medium-bodied and crisp, it is slightly more evolved than the Sonoma Coast and thus should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
"Light gold. Powerfully scented bouquet of lemon, orange, iodine and floral honey, with a suave spicy undertone. The citrus flavors repeat on the palate, along with gingerbread and tangy mineral qualities. Very fresh and precise, with excellent finishing lift and lingering minerality. This got about 38% new oak but I'm not seeing, or feeling it." - STIWC 91

Our philosophy is our process:
Itís about respect for the land. Nature guides our process and we listen Ė closely.
Itís about terroir. The vineyards are selected for their ability to sustainably produce the highest quality fruit. The soil must be right for the climate, which must be right for the terrain, which must be right for the varietal.
Itís about harmony Ė the marriage of Old World methods with New World innovations.
Itís about a family of wines crafted for the now, but even better with age. Bold, but in check, sensual, these are wines in perfect balance.
