"Bodegas As Laxas has been family owned and operated since its inception in 1863. Located in the Condado de Tea sub-section of the Rias Baixas region, As Laxas sits on a hill just north of the Mino River. Many of the vineyards are terraced with a southern exposure overlooking the Mino River. The original winery was destroyed in a fire during the 1960's. The winery was rebuilt shortly after the fire and has been continually updated over the past 40 years, allowing Bodegas As Laxas to remain on the cutting edge of wine technology. As Laxas was one of the first wineries to be awarded the status of D.O. Rias Baixas." -Importer
