YES! It's SULFITE-FREE...the wine tests out a 0 parts per million. It is possible! While organic grapes have as much naturally occurring sulfur on the grapes and in the juice as conventional wines, the producer does not add any sulfites in the processing of the wine.
The sulfur that is present will be taken up by the working yeast and incorporated into their cell walls. When the wine is settling clear, those yeast hulls fall to the bottom of the tank and the wine is then racked off the "lees" (dead yeast, fine grape skins, etc.) and the offending sulfur is left behind. This is repeated during malo-lactic fermentation and the producer never has a problem reducing their wine to 0ppm of Sulfur Dioxide.
To be certified "organic" no sulfites may be added and the wine must end up with less that 10ppm or less naturally occurring

Ongoing vintages have added a healthy percentage (30%) of Mendocino grapes which bring the leaner mouth feel and more focused flavors of the region to the mix. A blend of Fresno Syrah and Carignan and Mendocino Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine should age well for a few years...if it lasts.
