Wine Enthusiast 90 points - An intensely grainy bouquet. The palate entry is corny sweet and nearly honey-like; at midpalate the core flavor of sweet corn mash remains while tastes of buttered popcorn, brown sugar, and nougat expand. Finishes with a spurt of fire and lots of long, corny/grainy tastes. Should be part of every serious whiskey-lover’s collection.

Bulleit is bottled in an old-fashioned style bottle, there is a relatively high proportion of rye in the mashbill which proffers plenty of pep. This bourbon was awarded a Gold medal at the 2004 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose is quite pungent and peppy with notes of marmalade and toasty oak. Here is a hint of smoke with a beautiful, creamy banana milkshake.
The palate is quite full with notes of zesty orange, a hint of dried peel, a note of winter spice, a cigar box character and a touch of perfume.
The finish is of medium-length with plenty of spice.
