Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor.
Wine Enthusiast 95 points - Golden and bright, this straight Bourbon whiskey is one of the most versatile around. Though it starts with a sweet flavor profile with hints of vanilla and cookie dough, it finishes supple and dry, with notes of leather, black tea and cinnamon. Bracing alcohol levels. - K.N. Ultimate Beverage Challenge 94 points - (Great Value,Tried & True Award)- Dry, restrained nose with some herbs and a hint of orange peel. Rich, with plenty of corn sweetness and impressively long, rich flavors. The tannins and spice on the finish cleanse the sweetness from the palate. (Mar 2015)
