| Pernod Aux Plantes D'Absinthe Supérieure
Brilliant yellow green tourmaline color. Rich dimensional aromas of anise, five spice, sweet herbs, and spicy meringue and follow through on a broad, vibrant entry to a lightly sweet and bitter full body with a superb balance of anise, herbs and an underlying creaminess. Finishes with a long lemongrass, aniseed, and bitter wormwood fade. Brilliantly crafted and balanced even at full strength. Tasted louched as an absinthe cocktail: Hazy peridot color. Rounded, more emphasis on the herbal, pleasingly bitter wormwood, earthy dried herb, and crushed aniseed notes. A very seriously poised and wondrous digestif.
