“La Gerbotte” is the name of the clos within the Arlot Cru where Advocate (Robert Parker), 89 Chardonnay and Pinot Gris are grown. A racy wine with good acidity, the rare Blanc Nuits St. Georges is somewhat lighter than many other white Burgundies. It has tropical fruit and exotic aromas, structured with a richness that is due in part to the small percentage (5%) of old Pinot Gris vines interspersed in the Clos de l’Arlot vineyard.
