A graceful, elegant Chardonnay of medium full body, this wine shows the classic citrus and ripe stone fruit flavors overlaid by distinct notes of almonds characteristic of the appellation, ending in a long, ripe finish.
2009 is already anticipated to be one of the great vintages in Burgundy. A ripe, full-fruited bouquet including brioche, butter and cream leads to a medium body and supple texture, with distinctive hazelnut and spice nuances on the palate that carry into a persistent fi nish. This wine can be enjoyed immediately or within five to eight years of the vintage.
90 PTS – Burghound
A ripe but classic nose of hazelnut and fresh white orchard fruit aromas complements rich, full and naturally sweet middle weight flavors that possess fine depth and length for a villages level wine. This seductively delicious effort should repay 4 to 6 years of cellar time.
89 PTS – Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
The 2009 Meursault is a gorgeous wine at this level. It shows marvelous harmony in a round, supple style well suited to near-term drinking. I find it amazing that Jadot produced a whopping 330 barrels of this wine, an enormity by Burgundian standards, at this level of quality and price. Anticipated maturity: 2012+.

Light yellow. Aromas of fresh-cut hay, white raspberry and smoky oak. On the palate, spicy peach, pear and apple flavors are complicated by a subtle green quality and a hint of underripe cherry. Good flesh leavened by juicy acidity. Finishes with good length.
