In the glass the wine greets you with a deep, almost opaque, black cherry color core that is almost consistent to very narrow dark pink rim. On the nose the wine offers a medium intensity of plums, a mélange of green hrbs (mint, parsley and dried bay leaf) with a slight hint of black licorice and pine forest. On the palate the wine is dry with a medium body, mouth-watering acidity and a medium(+) level of tannin. The flavors are a medium intensity of fresh plums, green herbs and black fruit (blue berry, black berry). The finish is clean with a medium length of lingering flavors similar to the palate along with refreshing acidity at the end. (May 10, 2014)
